Summer in the high valley of the Wildschönau is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
From the valley up to over 2,000 metres, either on foot or comfortably with the gondola.
Once at the top, you will find long-distance hiking trails also for small children, excellent mountain bike routes and the odd mountain peak.

With bike & e-bike through the high valley
Across Niederau, Oberau, Auffach and Thierbach! The Wildschönau is perfect as a starting and ending point for a wide variety of tours. As part of the Tyrolean bike swing, it is a perfect stopover - but it has many more routes ready for cycling enthusiasts. Whether a leisurely bike tour along the "Inn" or a rapid mountain bike tour up to the peaks, the variety speaks for itself in the Wildschönau.
Pumptrack & Bike-Trails
Holidays are the best time to start something new. Have you always wanted to get your children excited about mountain biking? Then you have the best conditions at the Drachental Family Park. Of course, you can rent bikes on-site and start your first exercises on the pump track. Fresh air, exercise and, of course, lots of fun are the top priorities here, and let's be honest. Who doesn't want that?
Family vacation
Children can expect a great holiday programme in the Wildschönau during the summer holidays. Gold panning, a visit to the farm and the beekeeper are the programme highlights of the week. The "Dragon Club" children's programme occurs from the end of June to the beginning of September 2021 from Monday to Friday. The programme is open to all children from the age of 5. The children's programme takes place in all weathers and participation is free with the Wildschönau Card. There are only fees for transfers, catering or others.
